Your privacy matters. Our policies, statedplainly and clearly.

What we collect, why we collect it, who helps us process it and the choices you have. Written to be read, not skimmed past.

Effective date: October 10, 2026. This policy covers micaspecialties.com and the ways Mica Specialties (“we,” “us”) communicates with visitors, prospects and clients by web, email, phone and text message. We are a private advertising agency located at 11525 Hutchison Blvd Suite 101, Panama City Beach, FL 32407.

The short version: we collect only what we need to answer you and run our business, we never sell personal information, and analytics and advertising cookies stay off unless you choose “Accept all.”

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact and speaking requests: your name, company, email, phone, the topics you select, event details and your message.
  • Newsletter sign-ups: your email address.
  • Payments: invoice payments are made on PayPal’s secure checkout. We receive confirmation of the payment (such as your name, email, amount and invoice reference). We never see or store your card or bank account numbers.
  • Phone, email and text conversations: whatever you choose to share with us when you contact us.

Information collected automatically

  • Form details: when you submit a form, we record the page you sent it from, the date and time, and your IP address, to route your message and protect against spam.
  • Server logs: like all websites, our web host keeps standard logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, referring page and time) for security and troubleshooting.
  • Analytics and advertising data: only if you choose “Accept all” (see Cookies).

How we use information

  • To answer your inquiry, schedule consultations and provide the services you request.
  • To send the newsletter you signed up for, which you can leave at any time.
  • To process and confirm payments and keep accurate business records.
  • With your consent, to understand how visitors use the site and to measure and improve our own advertising.
  • To keep the site and our forms secure, prevent spam and abuse, and comply with the law.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to the reason you gave it to us.

Cookies, analytics & advertising

When you first visit, a banner asks how you’d like us to use cookies. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings, also linked in the footer of every page.

  • Essential: a first-party cookie named mica_consent remembers your choice for 180 days. Essential features also include our form and security functions.
  • Analytics (only with “Accept all”): we use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to see which pages are visited, how people arrive and whether forms are completed. Google Analytics uses cookies and device identifiers and reports in aggregate.
  • Advertising (only with “Accept all”): we use Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing to measure our own ads and to show our ads to past visitors on Google’s network.

We use Google Consent Mode. Until you choose “Accept all,” analytics and advertising storage are set to “denied,” so those cookies are not set. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as “Essential only” automatically.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and manage Google ad personalization at My Ad Center. Learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com.

Services we rely on

Some features load from trusted providers, which receive your IP address and basic browser information to deliver them and follow their own privacy policies:

  • Google: Tag Manager, Analytics, Ads and the embedded Google Map. (Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so no font requests go to Google.)
  • PayPal: the secure payment button on our Make a Payment page, including Venmo and card checkout.
  • accessiBe: the accessibility widget, which stores your display preferences in your browser. See our Accessibility page.
  • Our web host and email provider: which store the site and deliver form messages to our inbox.

Links to other websites, such as Alignable, our social media profiles or our partner sites, are governed by those sites’ own policies.

Text messages (SMS)

We send text messages only to people who have given us their mobile number and agreed to receive texts, for example by texting us first, asking us to text you, or opting in on a form or agreement. Messages relate to your inquiry or account, such as appointment confirmations and reminders, replies to your questions, project and support updates, and invoice or payment notices. We do not send texts to purchased lists.

  • Opt out: reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. We will confirm and send no further messages unless you opt in again.
  • Help: reply HELP or call (850) 571-7701.
  • Frequency and cost: message frequency varies with your conversation or project. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Consent is never required to buy: agreeing to texts is not a condition of any purchase or service.

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is used only by Mica Specialties and the messaging provider that delivers our texts.

Phone calls & email

We respond to the calls, emails and messages you send us. We do not send mass email or unsolicited advertising by email, and we do not email people we don’t have a relationship with, apart from the newsletter you ask to receive. Every newsletter includes a way to unsubscribe.

Watch for impersonation. If you receive an unexpected email that claims to be from Mica Specialties and asks you to open an attachment, click a link, buy something or provide personal or payment information, it is likely spoofed. Do not respond. Call us at (850) 571-7701 to verify. We will never ask for passwords or full card numbers by email or text.

How information is shared

We share personal information only:

  • With the service providers listed above, only as needed to operate the site, deliver messages and process payments.
  • When you ask us to, or as needed to deliver a service you requested.
  • When required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our clients, our visitors or ourselves.
  • As part of a merger or transfer of our business, in which case this policy would continue to protect your information.

Retention & security

Form submissions are delivered to our business inbox and are not stored in a database on the website. We keep correspondence and business records for as long as needed to serve you and meet tax, legal and accounting obligations, then delete them. Spam-protection data on the web server, which is limited to a scrambled form of your IP address, clears within minutes.

The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, form email is sent through authenticated, encrypted mail servers, and internal configuration files are blocked from public access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your information.

Your choices & rights

  • Cookies: change your choice anytime with Cookie settings.
  • Newsletter: unsubscribe using the link in any issue, or ask us.
  • Texts: reply STOP.
  • Access, correction and deletion: ask us what personal information we hold about you, and to correct or delete it. We’ll respond within 30 days, subject to records we’re required to keep by law.

To make a request, use our contact form or call (850) 571-7701. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

Children’s privacy

Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Client accounts & data

When we manage advertising, analytics, websites, hosting or technology for a client, we access that client’s accounts and data only to perform the work, keep it confidential and do not use it for any other purpose. Those engagements are also governed by our written agreements with each client, including how account ownership is handled.

Other product and company names belong to their respective owners. Mentioning them describes our certifications and services and does not imply endorsement, except where a formal partnership is stated, such as our Google Partner badge.
  • Information only: articles, guides and other content are general information, not legal, tax or financial advice. Results described are not a guarantee of future results.
  • Outside links: we aren’t responsible for the content or practices of websites we link to.
  • Governing law: use of this site is governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
